Most compositions are for piano. This is the instrument I like most since I had piano lessons when I was a young boy. My teacher was Eberhard Schneider, cantor and chorus director in the Cologne area. The adoloscence brought me to the bass guitar, I still play this instrument and sing, rock music only. But I seized the chance to return to classical music when my daughter was tought to play the piano by concert pianist and composer Wolfgang Weller in Oepfingen near Ulm. He gave me lessons in harmonics and compositions, classical only.
So here we are:
The works for piano include two sonatas, several compositions devoted to themes (e.g. "To the First Trimestre") and persons (e.g. "For Katja"), Préludes, and Études.
I present four of my works for organ: "Mortis" part 1 to 3, written for the funeral of my parents (they actually prepare their funerals meticulous, so I felt the duty to give something, too). Another work is composed for small church organ and piano, a combination seldom heared (of).
My brass compositions include a fanfare for trumpet, trombone, and kettledrum. It contains some elements of southern Bavarian music. And I am very proud of several pieces for 3 to 4 saxophones for which I interpreted a theme of Arnold Schoenberg.
This homepage is designed to present my musical compositions. You can listen to (mp3) and read the sheetmusic (pdf).
Feel free to play my works. If you intend a performance, please contact me. There is no charge for copyright (e.g. Gema fees) as long as a composition is presented on this URL.
